As I suspected, I took a lot of heat from people about the comparison - but not publicly anyways. It did reinforce my theory that 98% of all people inside the wrestling business are conservatives and 98% of fans online of wrestling are liberals. So it all balances it out. That said, I wasn't trying to inflame a political war on invoking Kerry's name. It was more about a PR issue. PR-wise, you have two guys (Kerry and Inoki) who have a lot of money, famous political backgrounds, and for some reason both made the calculated decision to go back to their ties with communist countries (Kerry with Vietnam, Inoki with North Korea). In both cases, I suspect that both men personally felt on their own that bringing back the risky past to boost the present would work, while their advisers have scrambled to tell them to don't do it. And they went ahead and did it. And have paid a price for it. The trouble's only just starting for Inoki. This thing will mushroom pretty quickly.

I thought you were talking about the chins of the two, which had me thinking at first--but didn't work. Anyways, I don't like Bush, but I'm not a huge fan of Mr. Kerry either.
