The MVP award is given to the wrestler who has contributed the most to the pro-wrestling business. These attributes include (in any order and combination:
1) Workrate 2) Mainstream appeal and press attention 3) Credibility 4) Drawing power
For example, a person may vote for Sasaki because of his body of match work. A person may vote for Ogawa because of the huge mainstream appeal that the Hustle brand has received. A person may vote for Kobashi because of his body of work and appeal as a top babyface.
The MVP award is not strictly a workrate award.
