This is a tough category to make a pick in.

No luck for Tadao Yasuda? Gotta be Tenzan, who once again gets an abortion of a title reign and is not really plausible at the top anymore for New Japan, which really isn't the right thing to do at all to a guy who got the push he did.

i picked Tanahahi. i mean, for someone who is the so called future of the company. he certainly loses alot. oh...but that's ok....cause he showes "fighting spirit". lammme. he still lost many times, and looked like a big time star jobber.

For me, the "hey let's have Tenzan fail" thing is so old hat that I barely considered him. Desensitized.
Misawa all the way for me. His degrading skills has been painful to watch.

As much as I wanted to vote for Misawa, I had to pick Tanahashi. 2005 was meant to be his year, but instead he was propping up Rikio at the Dome.

"Tanahashi" and "propping up" go together about as well as "Lex Luger" and "steroid free workout plan".
