I voted Jun Akiyama but I would have voted for Osamu Nishamura if he had been nominated.

"but I would have voted for Osamu Nishamura if he had been nominated."
Why?
He did nothing in 2005 (longer than that, actually). And whether he was actually a good technical wrestler or not back when they actually pushed him in the first place is still up for debate. (I suppose the answer to that depends on how highly you rate watching a guy making everyone he faces look like a complete retard with that headstand thing.)

Not a strong year for the technical wrestlers. I don't even know about about some of these choices, but if I had to, I give it to Suzuki, who was the best "technical" wrestler out of all them.

Suzuki is the "stud" of my choice.

Had to give it to Nakamura, his carrying of Kojima for the first 30+ mins of 3/26 easily puts him above everyone else on the list...

AAAAAAHAHAHA good one! ...I'm assuming this is in jest because if not it's pretty sad. TM4 is *maybe* in the top 5 in New Japan's juniors division. To say nothing of New Japan or the rest of Japan. Gedo carried him in the '05 tournament final. GEDO.

This category does have a habit of bringing out some very interesting answers.
