I guess Kojima gets it for being the top man for as long as he was. Not exactly a great year for heavyweights, like I said.

Kojima. Most consistent + a long title reign--which is still going. Puts on great matches. Current TC champ. Won the IWGP in a title vs title match never thought to happen. Beat everyone in his path who beat him for so many years. Like Kawada, Muto, and Kensuke. Just the all around MVP.

Kobashi! With or without the belt the people of Japan always consider him the best in the world. He has put on great matches even with his body falling apart. I am still betting on Kobashi VS Tenryu for the next summer Dome show!

Kojima, even while feeling COZY, is no match for Kobashi's greatness.
