'The Alpha Male' Monty Brown was the featured guest on this weeks Dr. Keith Lipinski Show located at www.puroresupower.com or direct download by rightclicking www.puroresupower.com/powerhour/shows/drkeith-2-23-2006.mp3
- Monty Brown joins Dr. Keith on the show. Monty mistakes Dr. Keith for the Franchise saying he is 'the alpha male, the one and only..' Keith brings up Monty's last PPV match with Christian. Monty goes into an even longer promo, garnering a well deserved 'holla' from the Doc.
- Keith asks about the Pounce, and why it's not the Pounce exclamation mark or the Pounce comma. In return Monty asks Keith to say the POUNCE. 'Good try' by Keith. Briefly on Planet Earth, Brown explains the origins of the move. 'Have you been able to do the Pounce on a Water Buffalo or a Manatee or a Woolly Mammoth?' asks Keith. The Alpha Male hardly needed prompting.
- Keith then asks where the Serengeti is located and whether it's like the town of Springfield of the Simpsons. The conversation then moves into how Monty got involved in wrestling and about the influence of Sting. Monty then cuts a promo on Sting (I'm sure this wasn't the question). We also find out that Keith was a former(!) member of the Dudes With Attitudes and what Sting's fear smells like.
- We also find out with Monty's 'heightened taste' whether he'd enjoy a McDonalds Shamrock shake and whether he'd ever asked a woman to be his Alpha Female, and how he gets rid of the Alpha Female.
- Monty Brown talks about being trained by Dan Severn and later Sabu. Sabu taught Monty psychology. Brown also talks about his earlier TNA appearances and why they didn't work out. Keith asks why the feud with Trytan didn't work out, and gives a Warrior Warrior esque answer. If I typed 'Trytan got on his spaceship and went back to the planet of the wee head people,' would you believe me?. Because that’s what happened
- The Destination X match with Christian is brought up as well as Monty's loyalty to TNA. Monty Brown puts over Kip James but not without shooting on James' hair.
- Keith likens Christian Cage to Hanna-Barbera’s cartoon character Snagglepuss*, and says he would put his money on the Alpha Male against Snagglepuss. Keith asks about the challenge of Samoa Joe. Brown likens Joe to the 'Water Buffalo' or 'Wooly Mammoth' that Keith alluded to earlier.
- Monty intends to wrestle until he doesn't feel like it anymore, afterall he does enjoy running through people, grabbing them and slinging them over his head, which keeps him as calm and collected as possible.
- Keith asks when the last time Monty spoke to his cousin, D-Lo Brown. Monty reveals that, 'smart guy,' D-Lo is NOT in fact Monty's cousin. Moving to Japan, 'the land of the rising sun could see the next sighting of the Alpha Male.'
- Final thoughts? Monty Brown hope the listeners listen with a dictionary in one hand and a thesaurus in the other. After all Monty Brown is the Alpha Male 'He is I and I am him.' Ahem, exactly.
